About Gwenette Monroe

Founder, Inspired Learning Academy – Stafford, VA

I’m Gwenette Monroe, founder of Inspired Learning Academy, a microschool designed for families seeking a more nurturing, personalized approach to education.

My journey into education began early. At age 12, I organized a children’s choir and served as its pianist—proof that teaching and leadership have always been in my DNA.

Over the past 20+ years, I’ve served in both public and private classrooms, developed individualized learning plans, and supported hundreds of students through Monroe Tutoring Center, the first education business I launched.

I hold master’s degrees in both Business Administration and Education and am currently earning an endorsement in Special Education to better serve diverse learners.

Throughout every chapter, my passion has remained the same:
To create a safe, joyful, and academically rich environment where students can thrive.

Inspired Learning Academy is the realization of that vision. Built on innovation, creativity, and care, our microschool partners closely with families to support each child’s learning journey.

We’re not here to replicate the traditional system. We’re here to reimagine what’s possible when education is personalized, community-based, and grounded in purpose.
